Sharri Fletcher, m.S., LIMHP

Sharri believes that the most successful personal growth happens when there is a strong relationship between therapist and client. She looks forward to building a relationship with you and assisting your journey.

Sharri Fletcher received her professional training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Community Counseling. She is licensed and certified as a professional counselor in the states of Iowa and Nebraska and is a member of several professional organizations.

Sharri uses evidence based practices approved by the American Psychological Association.  A combination of theories are applied and then tailored to meet each client's specific needs. These theories include, but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person Centered Therapeutic approach.

Her general practice consists of working both with individuals and groups. Her background is extensive in that she has 18 years working with both the criminal justice system and  law enforcement which has given her broad exposure to individuals in life's most trying circumstances. This experience provided Sharri the necessary tools to help her clients negotiate through the criminal justice system.

In her 10 years of counseling experience she has dealt with domestic violence, substance abuse, crisis response, marriage and family counseling, adolescent counseling as well as individual support therapy.  Sharri's background gives her the ability to deal with life's challenges, both large and small.

Sharri enjoyed the Loess Hills community as a resident of Woodbine for 14 years and has a special place in her heart for the people in this rural area. She looks forward to integrating back into the community and serving others.
